Goalify is made by Priyank Jadav, publishing as CraftStudios ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the Goalify app collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what the app needs to work, we never sell your data, and there are no ads.
What we collect
Your account
- Your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and a sign-in ID from them; we never see your password.
- Your first name, if you add one, and the avatar you pick or the photo you upload. Photos are stored privately; only your account can read them.
What you put in the app
- Your goals, steps, habits, tasks, completions, streaks, focus sessions and settings. They are saved on your phone first and synced to our database so they're on all your devices.
The AI coach
- When you plan with the coach, the message you type or say, the plan being drafted and the last few messages of that chat are sent to an AI provider (Anthropic, and Google Gemini as a backup) to write the reply. Under their API terms, these providers do not use your messages to train their models.
- We count how many coach plans you use each day and month, to apply the plan limits. We don't keep your chats on our servers; past chats are kept on your phone only, and are cleared when you sign out.
- The coach is not a doctor, lawyer or financial adviser, and its suggestions are not professional advice.
Voice
- When you talk to the coach, your phone's own speech service (from Google on Android, Apple on iPhone) turns your voice into text. We receive only the text, never a recording.
- The coach's spoken voice may be made by Google Gemini from the coach's reply text.
- The microphone is only on while voice mode is open or you tap to speak.
Calendar and widgets
- If you connect your calendar, Goalify reads your events on your phone to show them alongside your day, and adds tasks to your calendar only when you choose to. Calendar events are not uploaded to our servers.
- Home screen widgets show your streak and today's list from data already on your phone.
Purchases
- Subscriptions are handled by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your card details. RevenueCat tells us whether your account has Pro, using your account ID and the store's purchase record.
App health and usage
- Crash reports (Sentry): when the app crashes, a report with the error, the app version and basic device details (model, operating system) is sent so we can fix it.
- Usage events (PostHog): a small set of events, such as "goal created" or "focus completed", linked to your account ID only. No screen recording, no tracking of what you type, and no location from your IP address.
What we don't collect
No location, no contacts, no advertising ID, no ads, and no tracking across other apps or websites. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.
The waitlist on this website
If you join the waitlist on goalify.dev, we keep your email address, which phone you use, and whether you'd like a beta invite. We use it only to email you when Goalify launches and, if you asked, to invite you to the beta (for Android, that means adding your email to the Google Play test). It's stored privately in our database and never shared or sold. Unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to remove you, at any time.

Why we use it
To provide the app and sync your data (our contract with you), to keep it secure and fix problems, and to understand which features help people (our legitimate interest in improving Goalify). Where the law asks for consent, such as for notifications, the microphone or your calendar, we ask on your phone first and you can change it any time in your phone's settings.
How long we keep it
Your data stays while you have an account. When you delete your account, your account, app data and photos are deleted from our database straight away. Backups roll off within 30 days. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days, usage events for up to 12 months. Purchase records are kept by Google, Apple and RevenueCat as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. See how to delete your account.
- See, correct or get a copy of your data, or object to how we use it: email us.
- Turn off notifications, the microphone or calendar access in your phone's settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the EU, the UK or California), you have rights under laws like PIPEDA, the GDPR and the CCPA. We honour them for everyone. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
Goalify is for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Every account can only read and change its own data, enforced by the database itself. AI and payment keys are kept on our servers, never in the app.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
